I'm Michael and I'm a Brisbane Photographer

My name's Michael Leadbetter and photography in Brisbane is my passion. I'm originally from Christchurch in New Zealand. Christchurch is a cold and miserable place. Brisbane's not, it's a fantastic place to live and work. I'm mostly a self taught photographer, although I assisted quite a bit while learning the ropes. Images are my life. I love to create images for people. There's nothing better than giving people the fantastic photography they are after.
Did I mention that I love photography. I love the variety in photography. I love pushing the boundaries of what's possible. I'm extremely customer focused, I listen to what you need and then try to over deliver on the project. Great lighting, good framing and composition and actually taking the photograph is only one half of the image making process. The other half is what happens to it afterwards. I love Photoshop it is an awesome tool for manipulating images. It allows from the simplest of things, like making backgrounds white/black or even transparent to removing unwanted objects or people from photographs. Textures can be added in layers for a rustic or aged look. I can alter the tonal balance for a traditional film look or push the envelope and use cross processing looks. So whether you're after traditional looking photography or something more artistic I can achieve the look you're after. I can also build websites, like this one for example.
